Letter Highlighting Auto-reimbursement Details Being Sent to Retiree Insurance Solutions Participants

A letter is being mailed this week to post-65 retirees who have a retiree health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) through CBA and elected the automatic reimbursement option during the enrollment process with OneExchange. The letter highlights information they should know about their auto-reimbursement and their retiree HRA, such as the timing of the first auto-reimbursement.

As a reminder, it may take 30 to 60 days for the first auto-reimbursement to be processed. The exact timeframe depends on when the premium payment is made and when the specific insurance carrier notifies OneExchange of the payment. Once the initial reimbursement is completed, future auto-reimbursements (if applicable) should occur more quickly.

Requests for reimbursement may always be submitted manually. Retirees can use the Retiree HRA Reimbursement Form or go online to file a reimbursement request. If a manual request is submitted before auto-reimbursement is completed, the request that is received first will be processed.
