Well-being Focus in 2021: Four Levels of Influence
In 2021, NRECA’s well-being theme will follow a public health model that addresses the influences in our lives that can shape our health behaviors. Understanding these influences can help your cooperative’s employees and their families seize upon the positive factors and avoid the negative factors.
Our well-being resources and communications in 2021 will address the following levels of influence:
- Individual (first quarter). Self-care, self-efficacy and goals.
- Interpersonal (second quarter). Support networks, including friends and family.
- Organization and Community (third quarter). Other community support networks, like workplace well-being, community service and community resources.
- Societal and Public Policy (fourth quarter). How public policy and society affect our well-being, from sidewalks to legislation.
Before each quarter begins, we’ll offer theme-related materials and resources for you to share at your co-op.
