RS Plan Statements Coming in March

In 2015, it was communicated that annual benefit statements for most participants in the Retirement Security (RS) Plan will be mailed in March. RS Plan participants with qualified domestic relations orders, employment at more than one participating cooperative or who are potentially impacted by benefit limits will receive their statements soon after. The change in timing allows NRECA’s actuarial team to fully review and process participant RS Plan benefit information and ensure its accuracy before statements are mailed.

Opt-in to online statements
Participants have the option of receiving their statements via mail or signing up for electronic statements on NRECA’s Employee Benefits website. To opt into electronic delivery, participants should log into the website then click on My Benefits > Profile. Regardless of the individual’s mailing preference, the website maintains three years of statements and Financial Power newsletters online.
