Rewards for Life Participants Made a Splash With Operation H2O
Congratulations to all who completed the Rewards for Life® program’s Operation H2O. The POWER Wellness team is proud of everyone who took the time and put forth the effort to participate.
Over 1,200 participants were challenged to drink at least 64 ounces of water per day on at least 20 days over the course of the challenge, and 951 of them achieved that goal, for which they received points in the Rewards for Life program. Very impressive!
In total, Operation H2O participants reached or surpassed their 64-ounce goal a grand total of 25,249 times, which is over 2.5 million ounces and the size of the average back yard pool!
Additionally, three lucky participants were selected at random to receive their choice of Fitbit. The Fitbit winners were:
- Tana Lowry of Flathead Electric
- Dustyn Ferguson of Flint Energies
- Derek Ta of Valley Electric Association
NRECA’s POWER Wellness team congratulates the winners and every single participant for putting in the effort to improve their health and well-being by ensuring proper hydration, an easy and inexpensive way to help your body be and feel its best.
Up next is the Invitational Team Steps Challenge, which is a five-person team-based step competition that will pit team against team in weekly match-ups. Rewards for Life program participants will receive an email in early August with more information.
The Rewards for Life program is an incentivized work site wellness program available at no additional cost to all cooperatives that participate in the NRECA Medical Plan. To learn more, email wellnessprogram@nreca.coop.
