Refunds Issued to Participants for Incorrect Prescription Drug Pricing

Approximately 1,500 medical plan participants will receive refunds directly from CVS Caremark, NRECA’s pharmacy benefit manager. The refunds apply to brand name prescription drugs filled between January 1 and April 11, 2017, at CVS and CarePlus pharmacies involving then contractual discount pricing.

The refund will be mailed to participants in the coming weeks, along with a letter  informing them that the refund may decrease the amount applied to their 2017 year-to-date deductible or out-of-pocket totals.
