COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage Information

As vaccines for COVID-19 are produced and distributed according to federal guidelines, the NRECA Medical Plan will cover the vaccine and its administration by a health care provider without cost to the participant.

NRECA staff members are working with our advisors and vendors to ensure a smooth offering of the vaccine while ensuring our member cooperatives are provided with the latest information and necessary resources as they become available.

Currently, co-ops and their employees should consult their local health departments and/or primary care physicians for specific information on when they may expect to receive a vaccination. Questions regarding mandatory administration of vaccines to co-op employees should be referred to the co-op’s legal counsel or other advisor.

NRECA continues to review ongoing developments in vaccine administration and will be providing regular updates to co-ops as additional information is made available.
