2020 Retirement Compliance Data Due February 15, 2021
The deadline to submit your cooperative’s 2020 compliance questionnaire and W-2 data is February 15, 2021. Your information is used to perform annual nondiscrimination testing for the NRECA-sponsored retirement plans, as required by the Internal Revenue Service.
NRECA’s W-2 Salary Submission event is available under the “Salaries & Payments” megamenu to receive your co-op’s 2020 W-2 salary data. All other resources to help prepare your data are located on the W-2 Salary Data & Retirement Compliance Questionnaire page of the BA Guide. They include:
- The annual questionnaire, which has been updated for reporting 2020 information.
- The Compliance Annual Reporting Resource Guide, which answers many of your questions about both the W-2 Salary Submission and the questionnaire.
- The W-2 import file layout, and
- The 2020 Compliance Annual Reporting webinar is also available on demand to answer questions as you prepare your data.
Use the Message Center to securely send your completed questionnaire. Retain a full copy in your files in case the retirement compliance team needs to clarify any of your entries during testing.
