Wellness & Prevention: Focusing on Community Health in Q4
Our spotlight on wellness in the fourth and final quarter of 2019 shines on issues that impact our communities in addition to our individual wellbeing.
The resources below support healthful behaviors within your cooperative and the greater community.
For benefit administrators and wellness coordinators:
- Cooperative Concern for Community Challenge. Participants at co-ops in the Rewards for Life® program can earn points by volunteering five hours in their communities. If your co-op doesn’t participate in Rewards for Life, contact wellnessprogram@nreca.coop to join the program and participate in the challenge. To share with participants:
- Infographics to print and post in your break room or lunch room, or use on your digital displays or intranet:
- Webinar: Behavioral Health Conditions: Know the Signs and Symptoms, and the Resources to Help. Register on behalf of your employees and encourage them to attend October 10, 1 pm to 2 pm, Central time.
- Life Strategy Counseling. NRECA’s program to help participants with issues like depression, addiction and anger, as well as life’s challenges such as locating resources like child care and elder care. Numerous resources are available on the Life Strategy Counseling page to share with your co-op’s employees.
- Immunizations. Learn what vaccinations are recommended for participants: cooperative.com > My Benefits > My Insurance > Prevention/Immunizations.
