The 2018 Human Resources Mentoring Cohort is Forming Now!

The National Electric Cooperative Mentoring Program fosters collaboration among cooperatives and exposes participants to new ideas and approaches in the areas of benefits administration, organizational development and workforce development. Mentees will partner with experienced co-op professionals to help them be more successful at their co-op.

Here’s how this program can benefit both the mentor and mentee:

  • New to your co-op or your role? If you have a project or annual performance goal you need guidance on, are new to your position, want to understand the “cooperative way” or are interested in meeting some of your co-op HR colleagues across the country, you are encouraged to sign up as a mentee.
  • Are you an experienced HR professional or benefits administrator? If you would like to strengthen your leadership abilities, help develop the next generation workforce, or just give back to the co-op community then this program is for you. Become a mentor!

Mentoring will be conducted virtually. Mentors and mentees are matched by needs, skills, and experiences.
