Special Enrollment Period for Child Life and Family AD&D Insurance Ending

NRECA’s partner, MetLife, is providing a special enrollment window for the child life and family AD&D insurance, which is part of the Group Term Life and AD&D Plan. This period opened on August 1 and closes on August 31, 2014. To enroll, employees must complete a special enrollment form and turn it in to their benefits administrator on or before August 31. If an employee doesn’t elect coverage during this period, they won’t be able to modify their coverage outside of a qualified life event until their cooperative’s annual enrollment period.
