Improvements have been made this year to the annual base salary collection event (also referred to as the “November 15 salary collection”) on the NRECA Employee Benefits website. NRECA will conduct a webinar August 31, 2017, at 2 PM Eastern time to go over these significant enhancements and answer questions.

The annual base salary collection period runs from September 5 to October 13. As a reminder, NRECA sent an email earlier this month to benefits administrators (BAs) of cooperatives with salary-based plans, providing guidance on submitting their co-op’s salary data.

The webinar will provide the opportunity to learn more about the following:

  • A new guided event for BAs or financial administrators when submitting employees’ salary data on the NRECA Employees Benefits website, with an easy-to-navigate look and feel.
  • A new job classification structure, which entails collecting more information about employees’ jobs.
  • A change to the file format requirement for those who upload salary data.
