Side Accounts Annual Enrollment: Upcoming Dates

Annual enrollment for tax-advantaged side accounts will be held November 1-30, 2014. This is the only period during which you will be able to enroll employees in:

  • 125 Plans (health flexible spending accounts (health FSAs), limited-use health FSAs and the dependent care assistance program, or DCAP)
  • Health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) and the new retiree HRA

Please note the following important dates:

  • Register now for the webinar, Tax-Advantaged Side Accounts: A New Administrative Portal for Annual Enrollment on October 2 from 2-3 pm ET. This webinar will walk you through new administrative screens you’ll see this fall when enrolling employees.
  • To prepare for the transition to the new claims processing platform and portal, you will be unable to access your FSA and/or HRA reports and invoices from October 8-12. No claims will be processed during this time. You and your employees will still have access to FSA and/or HRA account balances on Cooperative.com.

In the coming days, if your co-op currently offers a 125 Plan or HRA, you will be receiving an email with detailed information about annual enrollment for 2015.
