Remember, Send 2018 Compliance Reporting Data by February 15
The deadline to send your cooperative’s compliance questionnaire and W-2 salary data is just over a week away. Both items are due by February 15 so that the benefits compliance team can perform timely nondiscrimination testing for your co-op’s NRECA-sponsored retirement plans.
Receiving your data by February 15 allows the benefits compliance team to prioritize and finish testing for any plans that may require excess contribution refunds, and, in those few instances, inform co-ops and make any needed refunds by the deadline of March 15. This and all other 2018 testing milestones are listed on page 3 of the resource guide. Find NRECA’s resources to help you finalize and submit your data in this article from the January 23, 2019 issue of NRECA Employee Benefits Weekly.
