Retiree Insurance Solutions: Reminders and Resources Available

The Retiree Insurance Solutions webinar that was held on July 23 is now posted on Cooperative.com. Listen to the webinar and view the presentation on how the Retiree Insurance Solutions program works. The webinar also provides tips and guidance to help cooperatives and retirees have a successful Medicare open enrollment in the fall.

Medicare open enrollment runs October 15 through December 7, 2015. During this period, post-65 retirees and others in the Retiree Insurance Solutions program can elect new Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D plans, as well as dental and vision plans, through OneExchange. (Medicare Supplement plans don’t have an annual enrollment period to change plans without a health evaluation.) If they’re happy with their current plans, participants don’t have to do anything to stay enrolled in their plans.
