Retiree Insurance Solutions Launches August 14

Post-65 retirees and other participants affected by the Retiree Insurance Solutions changes will begin receiving the NRECA announcement letter and pre-enrollment checklist tomorrow, August 14. Each affected participant will receive a mailing.

The OneExchange call center (855.832.0978) and website for the OneExchange/NRECA Retiree Insurance Solutions program, medicare.oneexchange.com/nreca, also will open tomorrow.

On Monday, August 18, OneExchange will mail a copy of the “Getting Started Guide” and a cover letter to each household affected by the change.

Participants should read and keep materials, and then contact OneExchange
Participants should read the materials carefully and keep them for future reference. After becoming familiar with the materials, they can begin contacting OneExchange to provide their personal information and schedule their enrollment calls, as outlined in the materials.

Participants can make enrollment calls beginning on October 6 and extending through December 31, 2014. Enrollment guides to help participants further understand their Medicare options and the enrollment process will be mailed by OneExchange on October 6.

Samples online
Samples of the announcement letter, pre-enrollment checklist, “Getting Started Guide” and cover letter are posted on the Retiree Insurance Solutions page on the Employee Benefits website. A sample of the enrollment guide will be posted closer to the time of the mailing and will be announced in I&FS Weekly.
