Reminder: Annual Enrollment Opens on Monday, October 24

Now that you’ve elected your cooperative’s group insurance plans during annual renewal, your co-op’s employees have the opportunity to enroll in or change their benefits for the upcoming plan year. Changes go into effect January 1, 2017.

For 2017, the annual enrollment period is open from October 24 to November 23, 2016, for benefits administrators. Employees who want to make changes to their benefits can do so during your co-op’s assigned wave. Wave 1 (blue) will be October 27 to November 10, 2016, and Wave 2 (yellow) will be November 7 to 21, 2016.

Note: To request a different wave for your co-op, call the Member Contact Center at 866.673.2299. Give at least a day’s lead time so the system can process your request.

Annual enrollment materials
Materials for participants, such as customizable presentations and handouts, as well as brochures and fliers are available online. Use the Benefits Check-up presentation and handout to educate employees on features of their benefits, especially the new embedded deductible option for high-deductible health plan-PPOs and the redesigned prescription drug plans.
