Participants in Cigna-Health Spring Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans to Receive Notice of 2016 Plan and Premium Changes

OneExchange has informed NRECA that there will be changes to some Cigna-Health Spring Rx Secure plans beginning in 2016. These changes may include an increase in premiums, deductibles and copays, as well as changes to plan formularies.

Cigna will mail a letter (Annual Notice of Changes for 2016) to the individuals enrolled in these Cigna plans, which will explain the changes being made. OneExchange anticipates that participants in these prescription drug plans will look for different options for the 2016 plan year, and their benefit advisors are prepared to review other options with members in these plans.  The OneExchange fall newsletter was recently sent out in which participants were advised to contact OneExchange if they want to change plans, if the participant’s current plan rates had increased.
