Participant Postcard Will Emphasize Cost Savings of Mailed Prescription Drugs

NRECA will soon send a postcard to NRECA Medical Plan participants reminding them of the cost savings of filling maintenance prescription drugs through the mail.

We encourage more NRECA prescription drug plan participants to take advantage of the CVS Caremark Mail Service; in 2016, 11% of participants used mail service to fill prescriptions. Participants can save the most money, and enjoy the convenience of home delivery, through the mail versus filling a prescription at a retail pharmacy. Mail service offers deeper negotiated discounts on brand-name drugs, up to a 90-day supply.

Participants can start mail service by filling out the mail service order form, found by going to My Insurance > Manage Your Prescriptions the NRECA Employee Benefits website, or having their doctor call in a prescription to 888.796.7322.
