November Salary Collection Opens September 2, 2014

Letters were recently mailed requesting cooperatives to submit their annual base salary data. The salary collection period will open on NRECA’s Employee Benefits website on September 2. Please be sure to submit your co-op’s annual base salary data through the website by or before October 10, 2014.

Remember, the information you submit will affect the 2015 billing for your NRECA salary-based group and/or Retirement Security (RS) Plan benefits. Timely submission of your salary data will ensure that your co-op’s annual enrollment elections, 2015 billing, and RS Plan projections and payments are accurate.

Annual base salary is an employee’s hourly rate of pay as of November 15, 2014, multiplied by the number of hours the employee would regularly work during 2015. The letter that was recently mailed to your co-op includes details about the types of contributions that should (and shouldn’t) be included as well as how to handle the data for certain types of employees.
