Nondiscrimination Testing Reminders: Retrieve 2019 Results and Submit 2020 Data

To prepare for 2020 nondiscrimination testing, the benefits compliance team will archive all test results from the 2019 plan year after the close of business on January 21, 2021. If you haven’t done so already, remember to retrieve your cooperative’s 2019 test results from the Employee Benefits website by January 21. After they are archived, you may request a copy of your test results for any prior year by emailing your request to pension.compliance@nreca.coop, or call 866.673.2299, option 7.

Also, remember that the data needed to perform 2020 nondiscrimination testing is due February 15, 2021. Your co-op’s W-2 salary information and compliance questionnaire are used to perform nondiscrimination testing for the NRECA-sponsored 401(k) Pension Plan, as required by the Internal Revenue Service.
