New Benefits and Materials for MetLife Basic Life and AD&D Insurance
MetLife basic life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, provided as a part of the NRECA group benefits plan, will feature some additional benefits as of January 1, 2017: Travel Assistance provided by AXA Assistance USA, Inc., for travel 100 miles or more from home. The Travel Assistance service is available to assist with travel needs, such as planning travel, researching travel inoculations, concierge service for transportation and accommodations, medical referrals, emergency medical and political evacuations, and more. Additionally, this service features Identity Theft Solutions, which is available while at home or traveling and includes assistance with filing police reports and notifying credit card companies. A Travel Assistance wallet card is available for you to distribute to your employees so they can access this benefit. Grief counseling and funeral planning help will also be available to assist employees and dependents coping with a major loss or critical illness.
