Letter to Encourage 90-day Prescription Drug Fills Being Mailed

CVS Caremark®, NRECA’s pharmacy benefit manager, will mail a letter later this month to NRECA Medical Plan participants who are filling a 30-day supply prescription of maintenance medications.

The letter will encourage participants to switch to a 90-day supply, which typically costs less than three 30-day supply prescriptions. The letter will include a list of current maintenance medications that are eligible to be filled for a 90-day supply.

Participants can get a 90-day supply of maintenance medications at an Exclusive Choice pharmacy or through the convenience of CVS Caremark Mail Service, where applicable.

Note: The letter will not be sent to participants in Oklahoma, where mail order is not currently available.
