2020 Interact Conference Canceled
Based on the health risks along with local, state and national orders, as well as recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, NRECA’s CEO, Jim Matheson announced on May 8 the cancellation of several NRECA conferences through the end of August 2020.
Unfortunately, this means we won’t be gathering for the 2020 Interact Conference in Tampa and Phoenix. But save the date, we’ve got two great locations for you to choose from and we’re bringing even more engaging content to Interact in 2021! Polish those boots—we’re heading north to historic Boston, July 12–14, 2021. Or, head south to Nashville, August 16–18, 2021.
If nothing else, this virus has shown that we are a group of resilient and resourceful people. As we navigate our new normal, there will be many valuable stories, solutions and best practices to share when we gather next summer.
In the meantime, we are actively working on taking key elements of the 2020 Interact Conference to bring them to you in a virtual platform this summer. Stay tuned for more details in coming issues of NRECA Employee Benefits Weekly. We hope you and your communities continue to stay safe, and we look forward to when we can all gather together in the future.
