Incentives for Co-op Employees to Stay Active in 2023

With the new year underway, here are two ways to help motivate your employees to keep physically fit in 2023: the Make Your Move challenge and an Active&Fit Direct™ fee discount.

Make Your Move challenge
NRECA’s first FutureMe challenge this year runs from March 15 to April 18. Make Your Move encourages challenge participants to complete 600 minutes of activity within a five-week period; all individual registrants will be entered into a raffle drawing for 10 gift cards of $100 each.

Cooperatives enrolled in FutureMe rewards are automatically eligible to participate in Make Your Move. Those not enrolled, but are in the NRECA Medical Plan, can request access to FutureMe challenges, including Make Your Move, by contacting the NRECA FutureMe team at futureme@nreca.coop by February 8. Enrollment Fee Waived for Active&Fit Direct
The $25 enrollment fee for the Active&Fit Direct program is waived through March 31, 2023.

The program gives all your employees—not just NRECA Medical Plan participants—access to nearly 12,000 fitness centers and 9,000 online workout videos for just $25 a month. There’s no long-term contract required. Note: Beginning April 1, Active&Fit Direct is increasing its fee to $28 per month.
