Go Online for Retiree Insurance Solutions 2015 Plans and Premiums and Updated and New Materials
As a reminder, 2015 plans and premiums are available on the OneExchange/NRECA website at medicare.oneexchange.com/nreca. Affected participants and benefits administrators can review options in their areas by entering their ZIP code and other requested data into the “Shop & Compare” tool on the site. It isn’t necessary to create a personal account to view plans and premiums. “Shop & Compare” will return plan information and premiums for Medicare Supplement (Medigap), Medicare Part D, Medicare Advantage, dental and vision plans in the area that matches the information submitted.
Note: While AARP plans do not appear on the OneExchange/NRECA website, they are available and will be presented as options during the enrollment call. People interested in AARP plans and rates should call OneExchange at 855.832.0978.
For results that are even more customized, participants can complete the “Help Me Choose” tool by answering three simple questions about their health care needs before using “Shop & Compare”. For results based on their prescription information, participants also can complete the “Prescription Profiler” tool, which will be available once the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services releases the 2015 data this month.
Updated and new materials
The Retiree Insurance Solutions Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document for BAs has been updated. The updates and added questions cover information about employees eligible for the Retiree Insurance Solutions program who will retire by the end of 2014.
Don’t forget that you can provide this checklist to these employees to help them understand what they must do to enroll in plans through OneExchange.
Participants will receive a selection confirmation letter from OneExchange after they enroll in their new plans. It confirms the plans and premiums a participant enrolled in and provides information on what to expect next. A sample of the selection confirmation letter also has been posted to the Retiree Insurance Solutions page on the Employee Benefits website.
