Enhanced Find Care & Costs Tool Now Available

The Find Care & Costs tool on the Employee Benefits website now provides customized out-of-pocket cost estimates for certain procedures and services to NRECA Medical Plan participants in the UnitedHealthcare network based on their cost-sharing amounts (deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums).1

Medical plan participants2 can use the cost transparency information along with quality ratings and reviews available in the tool to make informed health care decisions for themselves and their families.

1There may be a discrepancy between what the Find Care & Costs tool displays and how much a participant has paid toward his or her deductible and annual out-of-pocket maximum if outstanding claims are being processed. Participants should be aware that their estimated out-of-pocket costs may change as this information is updated.

2Cooperatives with a network other than UnitedHealthcare as their primary network, such as co-ops in Alaska with Beech Street as their primary network, have access to a different cost estimates tool that’s also available through the Find Care & Costs tool on the Employee Benefits website.
