Enhanced 401(k) Participant Eligibility Notification

As part of ongoing efforts to improve your NRECA Employee Benefits website experience and streamline online benefit plan administration, NRECA is providing benefits administrators with more timely messaging when a newly hired employee becomes eligible to participate in the 401(k) Pension Plan.  

A list of eligible employees will now be communicated weekly instead of on a monthly basis. This will give benefits administrators more time to complete the appropriate paperwork and remind employees to set up contributions to their 401(k) account. The new weekly Message Center notification every Thursday will include both participants who became eligible in the previous month and those who will become eligible in the upcoming two months.
