Distribute and Acknowledge 2024 Group SPDs and SMMs by March 1

Friday, March 1, is the deadline to distribute your cooperative’s 2024 Group Benefits Program summary plan description (SPD) and summary of material modifications (SMM) documents to plan participants. If you haven’t already, download them from the Group Plan Documents page of the Employee Benefits website and distribute them right away.

If you’ve already finished distribution, go to the Group Plan Documents page and acknowledge distributing the documents shown under “Documents Requiring Acknowledgement.” Be sure to acknowledge older SPDs and SMMs before the ones for 2024. Keep a printed copy of all acknowledgement confirmations in your plan files for future research and reference. Tips and resources are available on the Distributing Plan Documents page.
