COVID-19 Resources on the Employee Benefits Website
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities across America, NRECA is working to ensure its member cooperatives have access to the latest information and resources.
In addition to the updates provided through NRECA Employee Benefits Weekly and Benefits Bulletin, the first quarter issue of the Energize newsletter sent to NRECA Medical Plan participants contains lots of educational information on the vaccine, it’s safety and coverage without cost share under the plan.
As developments continue to evolve, the latest information is posted on the COVID-19 resources page for benefits administrators on the NRECA Employee Benefits website. We’ve also developed a similar resource for participants. In addition to your local health department and individual primary care physicians, this resource is intended to provide information on how the NRECA Medical Plan is available to assist you and your co-op’s employees.
We’ve recently incorporated a resource, made available through UnitedHealthcare, to help participants locate nearby COVID-19 vaccination administration sites. Participants can enter their ZIP code to be directed to local resources to help them learn the latest information and locations where they can arrange for a vaccination when they become eligible.
