Changes to Group Term Life and AD&D Insurance Age Reductions
As of January 1, 2018, the following insurance plans will no longer reduce benefit levels based on an employee’s or director’s age:
- Supplemental life insurance
- Supplemental accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
- Spouse life insurance
- Director’s life and AD&D insurance
- Director’s AD&D-only insurance
A letter to participants whose coverage is affected by this change will mail on Friday, January 12, 2018.
