Changes Coming to NRECA Browser Support – NRECA Employee Benefits Weekly

On August 17, 2021, Microsoft will end its support of the Internet Explorer 11 web browser (IE 11). This means it will no longer provide security updates to protect against harmful viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

As a result, NRECA will no longer support the use of IE 11 on cooperative.com and the NRECA Employee Benefits website. Continuing to use IE 11 after August 17 will leave users exposed to vulnerabilities that come from using an unsupported browser.

Upgrading your browser
If your cooperative uses IE 11, NRECA strongly encourages you to consider upgrading to a current version of one of these supported industry standard browsers: Chrome (preferred), Edge, Firefox and Safari. Upgrading to one of these web browsers will offer a safer, more user-friendly website experience.

And you may want to notify your participants about this coming change so they can make any necessary upgrades to their personal devices.
