Business Partner’s New Name and Updated Resources for NRECA Retiree Insurance Solutions

The FAQ document and the one-page transition summary have been updated.

Extend Health, our business partner for NRECA Retiree Insurance Solutions, is now OneExchange. OneExchange is a division of Towers Watson and one of the largest private exchanges for Medicare insurance solutions in the United States, having specialized in individual Medicare coverage since 2004. The name change reflects the comprehensive exchange products and services that the company offers.

Through NRECA Retiree Insurance Solutions, OneExchange will offer individual Medicare Supplemental (Medigap), Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, dental and vision plans to participants whose coverage will end on December 31, 2014. The new coverage will be effective January 1, 2015.

To help benefits administrators understand this new program and the transition to it, we’ve updated the frequently asked questions document and the one-page summary provided last fall.

We also will be updating the eligibility matrix and providing a communication timeline soon.
