ACA Tax Reporting and Excise Tax Materials Available
NRECA has been committed to providing information to cooperatives, whether they participate in our medical plan or not, to help them understand and comply with the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Two new documents on upcoming ACA provisions are now available:

- Affordable Care Act “Cadillac” Tax: What Co-ops Need to Know flier
These materials address how the 6055 and 6056 tax reporting requirements and the excise tax (also referred to as the Cadillac tax) will affect co-ops. We will be providing more information and resources on these issues, including webinars, conference presentations and other materials in the coming months.
As always, information on ACA issues may change based on future guidance. We encourage you to seek the advice of your co-op’s legal and tax advisors about your co-op’s specific ACA compliance responsibilities.
