Resources for Annual Renewal (Opening Tomorrow) and Annual Enrollment (Coming Soon)
Annual renewal for NRECA group benefit plans opens tomorrow, August 13, in the Group Plan Management event on the Employee Benefits website. Rate sheets for 2027 will be available in the Message Center for all benefits administrators in each subgroup with group benefit plans.
Renewal calculations and other co-op-specific reports for cooperatives with 100 or more covered participants will be sent by via email.
Visit the Annual Renewal Guidance page in the BA Guide to learn about required actions and access renewal materials, including option guides and renewal rate calculation explanations. The page provides updated information, including a checklist of things BAs should do and consider for annual renewal.
Before confirming or making changes, review your plans to ensure your 2027 plan designs are accurate and complete.
Start preparing for annual enrollment too
Materials also are available to help your employees prepare for the 2027 annual enrollment period, which runs from October 15 to November 20, 2026.
You’ll find numerous resources under “Educate” on the Annual Enrollment Guidance page in the BA Guide:
- Annual enrollment materials—include a redesigned customizable PowerPoint presentation and handout as well as a digital brochure covering benefit options and enrollment process instructions.
- Online benefits resources—additional information you can share with participants about group benefit plans and programs.
- Enrollment video—a short walkthrough of the annual enrollment process if you allow plan participants to enroll through the Employee Benefits website.
Use these materials to supplement your co-op’s annual enrollment communications.
