Update: Benefits & HR in Focus Webinar Series

On July 21, 2020, we kicked off the first session of the four-part Benefits & HR in Focus series. With over 900 individuals in attendance, there is great interest in learning about content that was provided during the NRECA Employee Benefits Update by Krista Britton and Jodi Fuller. We’ve received many requests for the content contained in that presentation, so we’ve posted a PDF of the slide deck. We’ll be posting a recording of this session as well as the remaining three sessions soon after the webinar series wraps up.

Next up in our series
Remember, there are three sessions remaining in the Benefits & HR in Focus webinar series. On Thursday, July 23, be sure to check out the next session featuring Kim Vance on employment law basics. Kim will be giving you straight talk on tough questions! Be sure to view the conference page for the series on cooperative.com to learn about the remaining three sessions and get registered if you haven’t already.

Concern for community update
There’s still time for you and your co-op to demonstrate your concern for community through our virtual community service project. NRECA has selected Feed the Children, a national organization dedicated to providing food and resources to those in need, as the recipient of our efforts. To date, we’ve received $3,890 in donations—but we’re still $6,110 short of our $10,000 fundraising goal. Remember that UnitedHealthcare and NRECA will each match donations up to $10,000, for a total donation of $30,000 to Feed the Children. Those donations will make a big difference to the communities Feed the Children is serving. Please view this video to learn about Feed the Children’s efforts during the pandemic and use this link to make your donation today! You can also involve your co-op’s employees by sharing these links.
