Cooperative Concern for Community Challenge Wrap-Up

Congratulations to everyone who completed the Cooperative Concern for Community Challenge, brought to you by the Rewards for Life® program. The NRECA Well-being team is proud of everyone who participated.

The goal of this challenge was to participate in at least five hours of community service over the course of this challenge, and 164 individual participants achieved this goal. Collectively, the 261 registered participants gave a total of 2,092 hours to their communities.

The three co-ops with the highest volunteerism rates are:

  1. Nobel REMC: donating $1,000 to Arc Nobel County Foundations, Inc.
  2. Surry-Yadkin EMC: donating $700 to the Yokefellow Ministry of Mount Airy
  3. Consolidated Cooperative: donating $500 to Turning Point

The NRECA Well-being team congratulates the winners and every single participant for putting in the effort to improve the well-being of themselves and their community!
