401(k) Pension Plan Safe Harbor Notices Available October 28

If your cooperative’s NRECA-sponsored 401(k) Pension Plan includes the Safe Harbor provision, you will receive a Message Center notification on October 28 when Safe Harbor notices are released electronically.

Download the notice from the Retirement Plan Documents page on the Employee Benefits website, distribute it to your 401(k) Plan participants, and acknowledge distribution by the November 30 deadline.

Before using an electronic delivery method, review the electronic distribution rules to see if your employees meet the requirements to receive their notices this way.
