2023 Annual Renewal and Annual Enrollment Dates
Annual renewal is the time of year when cooperatives choose the NRECA group benefits they will offer to their employees for the upcoming plan year. Annual enrollment is when employees choose the NRECA group benefits offered to them by their co-ops for the upcoming year. Dates related to annual renewal and enrollment for 2023 are:
Benefit Plan Rating and Renewal blackout period: June 6–August 11, 2022
- This feature on the Employee Benefits website will be closed to prepare for annual renewal from 8 am, Eastern time, June 6 through 9 am, Eastern time, August 11, 2022. If you need to model group benefit plans during this period, contact your field representative.
Annual renewal: August 11–September 23, 2022
Annual enrollment: October 17–November 17, 2022
- BA preview period: October 17–19, 2022
- Wave 1 (blue): October 20–November 4, 2022
- Wave 2 (yellow): October 31–November 15, 2022
- BA review period: November 16–17, 2022
