Upcoming: Some 125 Plan and HRA Functions Will Be Temporarily Unavailable
The “Manage 125 Plan and HRA” section of the Employee Benefits website will be unavailable for a period of time while the system undergoes updates.
The updates are planned to last from August 27 to September 9, with this area of the website available again on Monday, September 10.
What will still be available during the update period:
- Benefits administrators (BA) will still be able to access all 125 Plan, HRA and plan feature resources found in the BA Guide, including sample plan documents, forms, guides and checklists. Cooperatives may want to refer to these resources while making decisions about 2019 plans.
- Participants will still be able to:
- file claims manually via mail or fax, using directions in the guide How to File a Tax-Advantaged Benefit Claim
- access forms and information about 125 Plan and HRA accounts, under Education and Resources > Insurance Plan Documents
- view notifications regarding their claims by clicking the View 125 Plan and HRA button
What will not be available during the update period:
- Functions that benefits administrators access through the Manage 125 Plan and HRA link, such as enrolling employees in plans, running reports and retrieving notifications.
- Functions that participants access through the Manage 125 Plan and HRA link, such as online claim filing.
September Fee Funding Notifications delayed
Because of these system updates, the Fee Funding Notification(s) your co-op would normally receive on September 1 will be sent in the middle of the month instead.
A note about other reports and notifications
Reports that were requested and notifications received prior to August 27 will no longer be available in the administrative system once updates occur. However:
- Reports can be re-run starting September 10.
- CBA can assist with accessing information from historical notifications that are no longer available.
- Once system updates are complete, new notifications will appear in their usual location, and co-ops can request any reports from CBA.
- As noted above, participants can access their claims notifications by clicking the View 125 Plan and HRA link.
