Reminder: Send 2013 Compliance Questionnaire and W-2 Salary Data by Feb. 14
Send W-2 salary data securely through the Employee Benefits website.
Remember that the 2013 compliance questionnaire and W-2 salary data are due no later than February 14. The benefits compliance team needs this information by the deadline in order to complete your cooperative’s nondiscrimination testing in time to avoid possible IRS excise taxes.
Questionnaire
The compliance questionnaire is on the Employee Benefits website. Go to Administration > My Co-op’s Salaries. Click “Download the Annual Retirement Compliance Questionnaire” in the sidebar on the right.
When you’re ready to send in your completed questionnaire and any attachments to NRECA, use the Message Center. Choose “Retirement Compliance” from the drop down menu in the “To” field to send this information. Using the Message Center keeps your private data (e.g., Social Security numbers) secure and sends your questionnaire directly to the benefits compliance team.
W-2 salary data
The benefits compliance team also needs your W-2 salary data by February 14. Send it securely through the Employee Benefits website. Go to Administration > My Co-op’s Salaries > W-2 Salaries. Either upload a file with your data or enter it manually. File layouts are online at Administration > My Co-op’s Salaries. Select the import instructions link.
