Reminder: Distribute Restated SPDs for 125 Plans and HRAs

As communicated last year, summary plan descriptions (SPDs) for the 125 Plan and health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) were restated in 2024.

If you haven’t already, revise the sample SPDs that apply to your cooperative’s plan(s) and distribute these to your plan participants by July 30, 2025, as is required by ERISA.

You’ll need to update the 125 Plan Document and/or HRA Plan Document, as well, to reflect the same provisions within the SPD.
