Reissued 2021 Form 1099-Rs Are Being Mailed to Participants

Participants in the Retirement Security and 401(k) Pension Plans who received plan distributions were issued 2021 IRS Form 1099-R from NRECA for tax filing purposes. The 2021 Form 1099-Rs were mailed to participants late last week; however due to a printing issue, information was missing in two areas of the form: Box 15 (State/Payer’s state no.) and Box 16 (State distribution).

Corrected forms are being reissued and will be mailed to affected participants by Friday, January 28th, with an insert notifying recipients to use the corrected, enclosed 2021 Form 1099-R and discard the version they received previously.
