Recap: FutureMe Five to Thrive Challenge

Congratulations to all cooperative employees who participated in the FutureMe Five to Thrive challenge! The four-week challenge in May encouraged participants to eat five or more servings of fruits and vegetables each day on at least 21 days.

Five to Thrive promotes an important nutritional habit that not only supplies the body with essential vitamins and minerals, but also sets the stage for a healthier lifestyle and future, and 1,145 participants completed the goal. Those who did, and whose co-ops are enrolled in FutureMe rewards, earned points.

All participants who registered for the challenge were entered into a random drawing to win one of 10 gift cards valued at $100 each. Those winners are:

Ashia Baldwin, Flint Energies
Matthew Moore, Golden Spread Electric Cooperative
Jessica Bingham, Jump River Electric Cooperative
Patrick Krueger, Kandiyohi Power Cooperative
Hollie Leonard, NRECA
Donna Taranto, Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services
Katelyn Anderson, Stearns Electric Association
Emily Fronk, Valley Electric Association
An employee (name withheld) at Arizona Electric Power Cooperative
An employee (name withheld) at Buckeye Power Inc.
