Life Strategy Counseling Provides Around-the-Clock Support

NRECA offers the Life Strategy Counseling (LSC) program as a resource that can help eligible cooperative employees and their families who are facing personal issues at home or work.

Counselors help with a wide range of issues
LSC counselors provide support by phone, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for a wide spectrum of work/life concerns such as addiction, anger, grief, parenting, abuse and other issues. LSC can also help employees find local resources and services such as child care, adult care, consumer information and pet care.

Now may be an especially good time to share program information as the upcoming holidays can be difficult and stressful for many.

No additional cost for eligible participants
LSC is available at no additional cost to co-op employees, and their dependents over age 18, who are eligible to participate in the NRECA Medical Plan.

LSC is not intended to replace a co-op’s existing employee assistance program (EAP). If you have an EAP, it can supplement your program and help fill any gaps for employees’ needs.
