Letter Encouraging 90-Day Prescription Drug Fills Being Mailed
CVS Caremark®, NRECA’s pharmacy benefit manager, will mail a letter later this month to NRECA Medical Plan participants who are getting 30-day supplies of their maintenance medications filled at retail pharmacies.
The letter will encourage participants to switch to a 90-day supply, which typically costs less than three 30-day supply prescriptions at Exclusive Choice and Extended-Day Supply pharmacies or through the CVS Caremark Mail Service. The letter will include a list of their current maintenance medications that are eligible to be filled with a 90-day supply.
For more information on Exclusive Choice and Extended-Day Supply pharmacies and the mail service, participants can visit Manage Your Prescriptions and use the Pharmacy Locator tool. Exclusive Choice pharmacies are identified as “Preferred Pharmacy,” and Extended-Day Supply pharmacies are tagged as “90-Day Supply.” They can also speak with a CVS Caremark Care representative at 888.796.7322.
