Join Us for a Webinar on Health Insurance, Medicare and Social Security Decisions on August 25

Register now to participate in the “Planning for Health Care Benefits in Retirement” webinar for benefits administrators from 1 to 2 pm CT on August 25, 2020.

The webinar is part of a larger host of resources, including a new BA Guide page and future webinars, being developed based on feedback from benefits administrators and as a follow-up to the “Benefits in Retirement: What You Need to Know as Your Participants Plan for the Future” breakout session from last year’s Interact Conference. The materials are being designed to help benefits administrators prepare participants for the timely decisions and actions they will need to make to ensure they have the necessary benefit coverage, including Medicare and Social Security, during retirement.

The webinar on August 25 will focus on employees who retire “early” before they reach Medicare eligibility (age 65). Advantages and disadvantages of the various coverage options available to these individuals will be explored along with decisions trees to guide their actions. The first set of resources, including the new BA Guide page, will be announced. Attendees also will have an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar’s question and answer time.

If you can’t join us on August 25, a recording of the webinar and the presentation slides will be made available and announced in an upcoming issue of NRECA Employee Benefits Weekly.
