Final Week to Distribute and Acknowledge 2023 Group SPDs and SMMs

Your cooperative’s 2023 Group Benefits Program summary plan description (SPD) and summary of material modifications (SMM) documents must be distributed to plan participants by March 1, 2023. If you haven’t distributed them yet, do so right away. Download them from the Group Plan Documents page of the Employee Benefits website.

If you’ve already finished distribution, complete the acknowledgement process. Go to the Group Plan Documents page of the Employee Benefits website and acknowledge distributing the documents shown under “Documents Requiring Acknowledgement.” Be sure to acknowledge older SPDs and SMMs before the ones for 2023. Keep a printed copy of all acknowledgement confirmations in your plan files for future research and reference.
