Final Week to Distribute and Acknowledge 2020 Group SPDs and SMMs

Your cooperative’s 2020 Group Benefits Program summary plan description (SPD) and summary of material modifications (SMM) documents are due to plan participants by March 1, 2020. If you haven’t distributed them yet, do so right away. SPDs and SMMs are available on the Group Plan Documents page of the Employee Benefits website.

If you’ve already finished distribution, complete the acknowledgement process for all unacknowledged documents shown on the Group Plan Documents page of the Employee Benefits website. Acknowledge outstanding SPDs and SMMs from prior years before proceeding to the ones for 2020. Keep a printed copy of all acknowledgement confirmations in your plan files, for future research and reference.
