Enhancements to the NRECA Employee Benefits Website
This week, new enhancements were released that will improve the experience for benefits administrators and cooperative employees on the NRECA Employee Benefits website.
401(k) Plan Enhancements
Your employees will now be able to see their account balance by type of contributions to their 401(k) Pension Plan on the personal and retirement dashboards (see below).

Also, based on employee feedback, we have updated the 401(k) Plan “Your Investment Risk Tolerance” questionnaire to better gauge the participant’s time horizon to retirement.
The benefits administrator dashboard now features:
- The ability to view investments, source of money and total balance by subgroup. In the past only investments by asset classes appeared.
- The ability to download this data in Excel format.

Introducing a New PIRC Team Page
NRECA’s Personal Investment & Retirement Consulting (PIRC) team can play a big role in co-op employees’ retirement and financial planning. Members of this team are available to meet with participants in NRECA’s retirement programs over the phone as well as at co-op-sponsored onsite events. This new page brings information on this team and the services it provides to co-op employees. Retirement plan participants can view educational webinars, team member biographies and more.
New Media Libraries
Each month, in I&FS Weekly, benefit administrators are provided with articles and infographics on a variety of wellness and prevention topics. Additionally, there are many webinars, tutorials and other videos available for use by benefit administrators and benefit plan participants. The website now offers new libraries for this information so you and your employees can find the information quickly.
- Wellness Resources for your employees including the infographics, articles and videos that help keep them educated about their wellness
- Retirement Resources for your employees participating in the 401(k) and/or Retirement Security Plans with educational articles and webinars
- BA Webinars & Videos for you to find the various educational material developed for you, covering the spectrum of NRECA benefit program administration and associated resources

If you have any questions about the website, please reach out to NRECA’s Member Contact Center at 866.673.2299 or via email at contactcenter@nreca.coop.
