Enhanced Retirement and Termination Process Kicks Off
The new process for your participants who separate from their jobs or have other distributable events—involving additional support from the Personal Investment & Retirement Consulting (PIRC) team—launches today.
As announced earlier this month, the new process involves expanded availability of the PIRC team for helping participants, their alternate payees and beneficiaries who have or who have requested their distribution option forms with decisions about distributions from the Retirement Security (RS) Plan and/or 401(k) Pension Plan. That assistance includes one-on-one help completing distribution option forms, during the hours of 7 am – 7 pm Central time.
A new page in the BA Guide describes the new process in more detail. On that page, you can also view a recording of the September 21 webinar, which discussed how these changes are designed to better support your participants, their loved ones, and you as a benefits administrator.
The PIRC team is now available during expanded hours, between 7 am and 7 pm, Central time, for distribution decision and distribution option form support. Participants, alternate payees and beneficiaries can reach PIRC for these services at 866.673.2299, option 6 or pirc@nreca.coop.
